Born into the car business, Brian's dad enjoyed telling friends that his son teethed on a Black Book. Brian began working as a "lot boy" at the family business, Southtown Motors in Albertville, Alabama at the age of 15.

Growing up in beautiful Lake Guntersville, Alabama, Brian played football at Samford University under coach Terry Bowden. After school, he naturally returned to the automobile business and held a number of positions including that of general manager at Cullman Auto Auction. In June of 2006, he joined the Kelley Auto Auction family as general manager.

Brian has two children and lives in Guntersville.
